I'm Loven it pt2

what do you love about HPC? i have been thinking about this a whole bunch these past few weeks. I received a coupe emails abut what people who love HPC think... here are a few excerpts.

• Worship band.  They are amazing and help me sing my praise to God.
• A sermon series – dedicated topics covering a variety of life’s challenges, they are focused and well thought out.
• A weekly challenge and reflection.  I take this to heart and really am emotionally challenged and charged to take action.
• Live your potential.  This reminder alone tells me after I am challenged that God has a plan for me, I can seek forgiveness and start a new day.  I have can be God’s hands and feet, if I live out my potential.  Awesome reminder.
• I learn something every week.  Every week… sometimes too much to remember.
• Blog – a great vehicle to have additional information shared, especially as we went through the green series.  This is also a good way for me to see how I can pray for you and the team.
• Translations – Biblical text and translation that can be understood, you and the team do a great job of this.
• Teamwork.  The church is in a movie theatre.  It works and works well… but with the help of so many.  I am inspired to be involved.
• 10 AM start time, I love it – sure beats rushing out @ 8:30 or 9:30.  Also, coffee is a great touch in the morning.

I thought your message was fantastic!  I am blessed that you don’t let tension in the room hold you back from being obedient!  I felt a fresh anointing of the Holy Ghost during worship...so sweet and one point I stopped singing and just took deep breaths...I love that!

personally- E and I started High Point as a church that we would want to attend. We wanted it to be a place where people could live life connected, Where we would talk about spiritual things in a way that we saw Jesus do it... Practical and meaningful. We desired to have a place where we could worship in a way that was relevant to us and made sense to people who were new to faith and also was challenging to those who had been in faith a long time.

Here is what I love now that HPC is out of the theoretical...

• The people- cheese aside I am foreals. We have a bunch of really cool people coming to the church. People that I enjoy to spend my time with.
• The music- there is talk about getting some of our musicians together and kick'n out some of our own tunes... that is such a dream for High Point that I have. I love the tunes and the band and the way we ROCK! I look forward to adding a sweet worship night... look for it in the future.
• Life changes- I wish I had the ability to tell every story of life change I hear. I know there are even more things happening in peoples lives than I hear. God is rock'n peoples boat and it is so GOOD!
• God showing Up in a movie theatre- Think about it... Saw IV played in the same theatre that I shared the gospel of Christ in... People have to make a choice every Sunday... Movie or Church... Church Or Movie... That tension is GOLDEN! The Holy Spirit has got to be working like crazy in those moments.
• Olivia Is going to have a ton of friends- I just found out that another lady is prego. We are brewing an awesome Kids church... in a few years our Youth church is going to ROCK the CASA! Seriously O is going to be apart of the future world changers we kick out of High Point to take on this world and reach it for the cause of Christ! We are raising world changers at HPC!

I love most of all that God gave me and E this crazy dream and that it is working. I love to be apart of something that is so much bigger than I am.
